So you may be thinking, “What is Compliance?” The dictionary defines it as “the act of conforming”. In our case we are talking about real estate compliance. Real Estate offices need a process and system for receiving and checking the forms, documents and information turned into them by the agents that do transactions in their office. The offices that we work with use Dotloop© in their business. Nassau Ridge is then added as a “admin” and after consulting with the office to determine the process that they would like, we proceed to check each file submitted by the agents. Once reviewed if there is something that needs to be corrected, fixed or changed, then we will return it to the agent with a note on what the issue is. The agent then submits it back to us when they have made the necessary changes. Once the file is compliant, we approve it so the office can proceed to pay the agent when the file closes.
The items checked are determined according to what each office needs to have reviewed. Each office will have different forms and documents to be checked so the consulting prior to working with us is very important. Staff love that this allows them to free up time and complete other tasks. Agents are excited to see the status of their files at any time they look at their file.
