While Nassau Ridge LLC has only been around since Jan 2018, the Co-President Carolyn Thompson has been in the real estate industry for over 20 years. Will Thompson, the other Co-President is also an active REALTORĀ® Associate with many years of management and compliance experience. We bring our knowledge of real estate, technology, training and management to our business in order to elevate our customer’s value and integrity.

The Training side of is facilitated by Carolyn who has been teaching, coaching and assisting agents since 2008. She has taught in 39 states (including D.C.) and is currently a continuing education (CE) approved instructor in 20 states. Traveling the country over the last 8 years has given her a board and vast understanding of the way real estate all over the country. While some states are attorney states and some are title states our processes are very similar. Our forms and terms may be vary from state to state, but most all agents write contracts or offers and communicate with their clients.

Our Compliance department was started out of recognizing a need in the real estate market. Some offices have staff or brokers that check the files and make sure the agents are turning in all of their correct paperwork. Brokers and staff can become overwhelmed and over worked with the amount of files that need to be processed. This is where we can help. We start with the consultation and finding out the need of the office requirements and specifics. Once we have a full understanding of the agent expectations we can help create the system to have the checks and balances necessary to achieve the desired expectation. When an offices is fully integrated into our compliance services, the broker and staff are freed up to complete other tasks while outsourcing their “80%”. (80/20 Rule in this case refers to brokers and offices have many tasks and things that need to be accomplished for their business, but only 20% of what they do produces 80% of their income. Like wise many 80% tasks can be outsourced so that they can focus on that 20%.) Now for the newest addition to our services, Online Lessons/Training. As Carolyn has trained across the country averaging 108 classes per year (3 hours each), many students will ask “Do you have videos?” or “Is there some other training in case I forget what I learned today?”. These questions have led us to provide these lessons which can be accessed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. These lessons are interactive so students are not just “watching a video”. The student is required to “click” or “type” or press a key on their keyboard in order to complete the exercise or lesson. At the end of each a certificate is provided as evidence they completed the course. We are launching this in phases: 1. Building the Library and allowing offices or agents to “subscribe” to our lessons. 2. Offering Customized training to offices that have subscribed and are using our services. 3. Opening our services to other businesses and companies that might need this type of training for their business.
